Grease Interceptors

Grease interceptors, also known as grease traps, were first developed in the late 19th century. This simple technology works so well that their design and function has remained nearly unchanged since then. These traps are designed to catch fats, oils, grease and other food solids before they enter your wastewater system. For businesses like restaurants and hotels that produce food on a daily basis, these traps are necessary to prevent clogs in the wastewater system that can lead to costly repairs and shut downs.

We install grease interceptors for restaurants, hotels, schools, fellowship halls, automotive businesses, dental offices, and business of the like. Our grease interceptors are to be installed outside the building below ground. We install non-traffic and traffic rated grease interceptors. We can make the connection to the grease line coming from the building to the tank and from the tank to the wastewater system for the business, with an access point for maintenance and pumping.

Once a grease interceptor has been installed fats, oils and grease will begin to collect in the interceptor. This is known as “brown grease”. The interceptor is designed so that solids sink to the bottom and the fats, oils and grease float to the top. The brown wastewater will then be the only part that is pushed out of the interceptor into the wastewater system; leaving the fats, oils and grease behind to be pumped out.

We manufacture and install all of our grease interceptors to ensure that they meet the regulations and requirements for whichever municipality they are installed in. We offer a variety of sizes to meet your business’ needs; 1000gal, 1500gal, 2000gal, and 3000gal. We take pride in building a solid reputation of reliability, accountability, affordability with many municipal inspectors and businesses throughout the Midlands area.

We are a “one-stop-shop” for all of your grease interceptor needs in that we take care of everything from start to finish. We will verify the proper sizing and regulations required for your area, coordinate the installation process with your plumbing company, arrange for final inspections, then, be able to pump and maintain it in the future. If you are in need of our grease interceptor services please contact us today to set up an appointment for evaluation!

I have used Sharpe's two times in the last 10 years for septic service. Both times they were on time, did not leave any mess at all, and were very friendly. I thought the price was also reasonable. I would definitely use them again.
